The start of a new school year!
This will be my 19th new schooI year as a teacher. Some might think that I should have a great routine mastered and that I only need to go to my cupboard and pull out a folder “#physed A-Z” with subtitle “I have done this all before”.
In essence I should be able to just show up 5 minutes before the start of the new school year and immediately dive into that fixed and great once-developed-forever-good-sequence of lesson plans. Wouldn’t that be great? However, at the end of the last school year I wanted to try a new strategy: “Leave everything in the office the way it is and deal with it a couple of days before the start of the new School year”. That time has come now, for some days I have been back in my office to experience my reversed brush up the memory technique. I must say that this has been a very successful experiment thus far. The mind is slowly getting adjusted to the fact that another year will soon begin. The eyes are seeing documents in a completely different light. I am starting to get comfortable with the fact that a new year is ahead of me and this year I will totally rock #physed! Watch this space as I will be writing about:
